Ball Stud: Made of bearing steel with surface carburized quenching and grinding treatment, providing high hardness and wear resistance for flexible and precise steering.
Ball Seat (Socket): Made of POM (polyoxymethylene) rubber, pre-filled with lithium-based grease to reduce friction and noise between the ball stud and socket.
Dust Cover: Made of chloroprene rubber, resistant to oil and aging, preventing mud, sand, and moisture from entering and causing wear inside the ball joint.
Preload Spring: Made of spring steel, providing continuous preload force.
3. Bushing Assembly
Inner Core: Made of 45# steel with zinc plating / electrophoretic coating for rust prevention; rigidly connected to the subframe or knuckle via bolts.
Rubber Elastomer: Made of natural rubber – hydraulic bushing (with built-in hydraulic oil chamber), offering high elasticity and fatigue resistance to absorb road vibrations and filter noise; the hydraulic design also dampens high-frequency vibrations through fluid movement, enhancing ride comfort.
Outer Shell: Made of aluminum alloy, assembled with the control arm body via interference fit or welding to ensure strong connection strength between the bushing and the arm body.
