Ball Stud: Manufactured from bearing steel with a case‑hardened and ground surface, providing high hardness and wear resistance for precise, low‑friction steering.
Ball Seat (Socket): Made of POM (polyoxymethylene) and pre‑lubricated with lithium grease to minimize friction and eliminate noise between the ball stud and the socket.
Dust Cover: Constructed from chloroprene rubber (CR), resistant to oil and aging, keeping sand, moisture, and dirt out of the ball joint to prevent premature wear.
Preload Spring: Fabricated from spring steel, supplying a constant preload force.
3. Bushing Assembly
Inner Core: Made of 45# steel with a zinc‑plated or electrophoretic coating to prevent rust, rigidly bolted to the subframe or steering knuckle.
