2. Ball Joint Assembly
Ball Stud – The stud is manufactured from bearing steel. Through carburizing, quenching, and grinding, its surface achieves the hardness and wear resistance needed for steering that is both responsive and accurate.
Ball Seat (Socket) – Produced from POM rubber and pre‑charged with lithium‑based grease, the socket serves a dual purpose: keeping friction low and preventing noise between the stud and the seat.
Dust Cover – Chloroprene rubber offers inherent resistance to oil and aging. By forming a tight seal, it blocks sand, moisture, and debris from reaching the internal components of the ball joint.
Preload Spring – This spring steel component delivers a sustained preload, ensuring consistent ball joint performance over time.
3. Bushing Assembly
Inner Core – The core is made of 45# steel, with a zinc or electrophoretic coating applied for corrosion protection. It connects rigidly to the subframe or knuckle by means of bolts.
Rubber Elastomer – Here we have a hydraulic bushing constructed from natural rubber and containing an internal cavity filled with hydraulic fluid. The rubber provides high elasticity and fatigue resistance, enabling the bushing to absorb road impacts and cancel out noise. Meanwhile, the movement of fluid within the cavity serves to dampen high‑frequency vibrations — a feature that directly contributes to a more comfortable ride.
Outer Shell – Surrounding the bushing is an aluminum alloy shell. This shell is attached to the control arm body either through an interference fit or by welding, both of which guarantee a strong and durable connection between the bushing and the arm.
