The head gasket is a dedicated multilayer steel (MLS) design for the specific engine. Valve stem seals use different materials for intake and exhaust. The material and thickness of every gasket are developed according to original equipment data. In one overhaul kit, the material, hardness, and compression ratio of all components are integrally matched to the same engine – eliminating the hidden risk of incompatibility that comes from mixing, for example, "Brand A gaskets with Brand B seals."

The head gasket is primarily multilayer steel (MLS); valve stem seals are mainly fluoroelastomer (FKM). All other gaskets – paper, rubber, and metal-rubber composite – are made of materials meeting or exceeding OEM specifications, ensuring high-quality engine overhaul.
