2. Rod Body (Tie Rod Shaft)
Produced primarily from premium 45# carbon steel using a cold drawing process. Its surface is finished with an electrophoretic coating to resist corrosion, enabling a lightweight construction while greatly improving rust resistance. The rod end is precision-machined to feature fine-pitch threads, offering structural flexibility for accurate front toe angle adjustment.
3. Fastener (Nut)
Constructed from grade 8.8 high-strength alloy steel. The surface receives either zinc plating or a Dacromet coating, providing dual protection against loosening and corrosion. This ensures the mechanical integrity of the ball joint assembly after it has been fastened.
