1. Hose body
An EPDM-based rubber compound that also resists heat and oil is employed for the hose body, into which a polyester fiber braid is incorporated for the purpose of enhancing resistance to both pressure and tensile forces. The hose is rated for temperatures above 120°C, is resistant to corrosion caused by coolant, and is not prone to hardening or cracking when used for extended periods.
2. Quick connector
A housing made from reinforced engineering plastic (PA66+GF) is used for the quick connector, providing high rigidity and stable dimensions. Leakage at the connection point is prevented by an internal seal manufactured from EPDM rubber. Corrosion is avoided, and connection strength is increased, by the use of stainless steel for both the metal retaining ring and the bushing.
