2. Ball Joint Assembly
Ball Stud: Made of bearing steel with a case‑hardened and ground surface, providing high hardness and wear resistance for flexible and precise steering.
Ball Seat (Socket): Made of POM (polyoxymethylene) with built‑in lithium grease to reduce friction and noise between the ball stud and the socket.
Dust Cover: Made of chloroprene rubber (CR), resistant to oil and aging, preventing mud, sand, and moisture from entering the ball joint and causing wear.
Preload Spring: Made of spring steel, providing continuous preload force.
3. Bushing Assembly
Inner Core: Made of 45# steel with zinc plating or electrophoretic coating for rust protection. It is rigidly bolted to the subframe or knuckle.
Rubber Elastomer: Made of natural rubber – a hydraulic bushing (with built‑in hydraulic oil chamber). It offers high elasticity and fatigue resistance, cushioning road vibrations and filtering noise. The hydraulic design also damps high‑frequency vibrations through fluid movement, improving ride comfort.
Outer Housing: Made of aluminum alloy, assembled to the control arm body via interference fit or welding, ensuring strong connection strength between the bushing and the arm.
