1. Arm Body
We forge the arm body from aluminum alloy using a die‑forging process. The result is a part that's 40–50% lighter than a steel arm but still very stiff. That lower unsprung mass means the wheels react faster, so you get sharper handling and a smoother ride.
2. Ball Joint Assembly
The ball stud starts as bearing steel. After carburizing, hardening, and grinding, its surface becomes hard and resistant to wear – just what you need for precise, easy steering. The socket (or cup) is made of POM plastic and comes pre‑packed with lithium grease to keep friction and noise down. A chloroprene rubber boot keeps dirt, sand, and moisture out; it also resists oil and won't age quickly. And there's a spring steel preload spring that keeps constant pressure on the joint.
3. Bushing Assembly
The inner core is 45# steel with a zinc or electrophoretic rust‑proof coating, and it bolts solidly to the subframe or knuckle. The rubber part is a blend of natural rubber and a hydraulic bushing that has an internal oil chamber. That gives you high elasticity and great fatigue resistance, so the bushing can soak up road bumps and filter out noise. On top of that, the hydraulic bushing uses oil flow to dampen high‑frequency vibrations – which makes the ride even more comfortable. The outer shell is aluminum alloy, attached to the control arm by either an interference fit or a weld, making sure the bushing stays firmly in place.
