1. Arm Body
We've designed the arm body using die‑forged aluminum alloy, which makes it 40 to 50 percent lighter than a steel arm while keeping excellent rigidity. By lowering unsprung mass, we've improved both handling response and ride smoothness.
2. Ball Joint Assembly
Starting with the ball stud, we start with bearing steel and then carburize, harden, and grind the surface. This gives it the hardness and wear resistance needed for precise, low‑friction steering. The ball socket is molded from POM and pre‑filled with lithium grease, so friction and noise are kept to a minimum. We also add a chloroprene rubber dust boot that seals out dirt, sand, and moisture while resisting oil and aging. A spring steel preload spring applies a steady preload force to keep the joint tight at all times.
3. Bushing Assembly
The inner core is made of 45# steel with a zinc or electrophoretic anti‑rust coating, and we bolt it rigidly to the subframe or steering knuckle. For the rubber elastomer, we combine natural rubber with a hydraulic bushing that contains an internal oil chamber. This gives us high elasticity and excellent fatigue resistance, so the bushing can absorb road vibrations and filter out noise. What's more, the hydraulic bushing uses oil flow to dampen high‑frequency vibrations, which further enhances ride comfort. Finally, the outer housing is made of aluminum alloy and attached to the control arm by either interference fit or welding, ensuring a strong and lasting connection.
