2. Ball Joint Assembly
The ball stud is manufactured from bearing steel and subjected to carburizing, hardening, and grinding processes. A hard, wear‑resistant surface is thereby obtained, enabling precise steering with minimal friction. The ball socket, also known as the bearing cup, is injection‑molded from POM and pre‑filled with lithium grease, which serves to reduce both friction and operational noise. A dust boot constructed from chloroprene rubber is provided to seal out dirt, sand, and moisture, while its material composition ensures resistance to oil and aging. In addition, a preload spring made of spring steel supplies a continuous preload force, maintaining joint tightness throughout the product's service life.
3. Bushing Assembly
The inner core is machined from 45# steel and finished with either a zinc plating or an electrophoretic coating for corrosion protection, after which it is rigidly bolted to the subframe or steering knuckle. The rubber elastomer consists of natural rubber integrated with a hydraulic bushing that contains an internal oil chamber. This configuration delivers high elasticity and fatigue resistance, allowing the bushing to absorb road vibrations and filter out noise. Moreover, high‑frequency vibrations are dampened by the movement of oil within the hydraulic bushing, further contributing to ride comfort. The outer housing is formed from aluminum alloy and attached to the control arm either by interference fit or welding, thereby ensuring a strong and durable connection between the bushing and the arm.
