Reliable sealing against dirt, sand, and moisture is provided by a chloroprene rubber dust boot that also resists oil and aging. 3. Bushing Assembly
A rigid, secure attachment to the subframe or knuckle is ensured by the inner core, which is 45# steel with a zinc or electrophoretic coating and bolted connections. High elasticity and fatigue resistance, allowing the bushing to absorb road vibrations and filter out noise, come from a rubber elastomer that combines natural rubber with a hydraulic bushing containing an internal oil chamber. Enhanced ride comfort, specifically the damping of high‑frequency vibrations, is achieved by oil flow inside that hydraulic bushing. A strong, durable bond between the bushing and the control arm is guaranteed by the outer housing, made of aluminum alloy and attached via interference fit or welding.
